Kyra Baskin
38-Day Campaign — Fall 2024
Kyra Baskin had been writing close to a song a week for a year. She'd moved to Brooklyn, had one track on Spotify, and knew exactly the sound she was chasing, but had no financial path to make a studio record.
That’s when saw our ad, applied, and got accepted.
Her first call with Mike Davidson, our founder and producer, ran two hours. They covered everything she was building toward — her goals, her sound, where she was in her career, what the record needed to be. By the end, she had a plan. A few weeks later, she was in the studio recording her first single.
Then came the campaign. Kyra followed every step of the plan, all 39 days, and raised over $10,000.
Months later, she went back to Boston and spent a week recording her full EP without paying any costs out-of-pocket. When it was done, she got on camera. "Here's me crying," she said, "because of how much this changed my life."
Every campaign opens with a concentrated push designed to build early momentum and social proof, ensuring a strong launch. This dramatically increases the chances of hitting the goal.
A structured mid-campaign push reactivates early backers and reaches a second wave of potential supporters. This isn’t luck — it’s a repeatable process built into every campaign we run.
Campaigns that hit their goal early can introduce stretch goals, giving supporters new motivation to donate beyond the original goal. Kyra closed at 110% funded after reaching her goal nearly three weeks ahead of schedule.
